2009 Festival of Trees
2010 is an 'off' year for Kettle Karvers, but
we still had a presence with the entry
It's December 25, Do You Know Where
Your Gnomes Are? Don Lorier chain saw
carved this really fantastic spiral tree (in the
spirit of the FOT logo) that he donated to
the festival this year as a specialty item.
Pam Moir donated the little gnomes,
finished, and decorated the tree. The tree
took second place in the Best Use of
Handcrafts category, third place in the
Special Item category, and raised $500 for
Festival of Trees.
We will again display our large tree
decorated with all hand-carved ornaments
at the 2011 Festival of Trees.
