Judy Larson
Judy became interested in carving after
signing her grandson up for the Kid's Carve
offered through Plymouth Community
Education in the fall of 2009. She was totally
freaked out watching her grandson holding
that sharp knife so when Darrell asked if she
would like to try carving, she agreed. That is
how she became hooked and has been
carving ever since. She has been a member
of Kettle Karvers since the winter of 2010.

Judy attends the Wednesday morning
carving classes held at Fox Valley Technical
College in Chilton. She has also taken
classes given by Darrell Abston and Bob
Lawrence.

Interested in all types of carving, she has
mostly carved small Christmas ornaments.
Her goal for the year is to create a chip
carving.
Judy's activities with the club include newsletter editor and webmaster. She has also
Judy and her husband, Francis, live in Howards Grove with their cat, Sam. She has one
daughter and three grandchildren. Retired since 2009, in addition to carving, she enjoys
spending time with her grandchildren, reading, and  making rosaries for the military troops.
